This beautifully-curated market opens its new brick-and-mortar store on February 12.
Every San Franciscan knows that the iconic Ferry Building is home to dozens of exciting vendors and events. But did you know that their popular Sunday market, Fog City Flea, is becoming a brick-and-mortar store? Fog City Flea Trading Post will open 10am-6pm 7 days a week starting Saturday, February 12.
The market will be fully realized as a 5,000-square-foot department store in the Ferry Building’s upstairs Grand Hall. You’ll find high quality apparel, handmade jewelry, elegant accessories, and fine houseware and furnishings. Vintage pieces are highly edited for quality, and the market strives to promote sustainability and local sourcing in line with similar Ferry Building initiatives.
Recent goods listed on their Instagram include handmade textiles from Yarrow Goods, sunhats and apparel from West Perro, and sustainable home and lifestyle items from Beth Miles Design.
Some of our favorite SF spots can also be found at the Ferry Building Marketplace, including Humphry Slocombe ice cream, Acme Bread Company, and the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
Enjoy Fog City Flea, every day from 10am-6pm in the Ferry Building. The building is a famous Embarcadero landmark open from 7am-10pm daily.
