Downtown First Thursdays November 2026

On Thursday, November 5, Downtown San Francisco will shut down several blocks for a free block party. This month’s headliner is Big Freedia, a popular hip-hop artist and entertainer. Big Freedia is also known for advocating for LGBTQ+ rights throughout her career. She is set to perform on the main stage at Howard and 2nd Street from 8 to 9 p.m.
The block party will also feature a discoteca with various DJs, a dance hall, and multiple outdoor bars. Plus, you can check out art at 111 Minna Gallery, with music and drinks. Plenty of local vendors will be in attendance, including food from Aroma Concessions, Bini’s Kitchen, Peaches Patties, and Sunrise Deli. Other vendors in attendance this month include Peterhriffin Vintage, Sense of Nadia, and more.
We also recommend checking out MoAD, which is just a short walk from the block party. The museum offers free admission on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., so it’s the perfect chance to explore the museum. Downtown First Thursdays is free and open to all ages. The event takes place on 2nd Street between Market and Howard. You can find more details on the Downtown First Thursdays website.
