Golden Gate Park is home to a beautiful, historic bandshell at the Music Concourse. Located between the de Young and the California Academy of Sciences, the scenic venue hosts a series of free concerts starting in March and running through the fall.
The free shows are entering their last few months, ending in the fall. Luckily, there is a packed schedule featuring various local performers so you still have plenty of chances to see a show.
Bandshell concert schedule
You can expect multiple concerts a week at the bandshell, typically on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The concerts typically follow themes, such as singer/songwriter Wednesday, Friday Happy Hour, and Crucial Reggae Sunday. Check out the full schedule below.
