de Young is Celebrating their 125th Birthday with a huge party

The contemporary art museum has been bringing some of the best modern American art, photography and international costumes and textiles to the city for more than a century. This year, the biggest art institution in San Francisco (which includes the Legion Of Honor) has decided to make a big deal of their quasquicentennial anniversary.

While after-hours access, craft cocktails, gourmet bites, pop-up experiences are to be expected, this year there will be a headline performance by the critically-acclaimed American rapper, Goldlink.
