If you love Hello Kitty, you probably already know about the iconic Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, which makes stops across the East and West Coasts every few months, serving up themed treats and adorable merch. The truck is returning to California this month, including two stops in the Bay Area.
Hello Kitty Cafe Truck

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is returning to the Bay Area starting this weekend, serving its signature blend of Hello Kitty-themed merch and special small treats. The nostalgic truck will make two stops in the Bay Area this August, first in Concord at The Veranda this Saturday, August 15. The truck will venture even closer to the city, stopping in San Mateo the following weekend.
Here’s where to catch the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck this August:
- Saturday, August 15: The Veranda, 2001-2003 Diamond Blvd, Concord
- Saturday, August 22: Hillsdale Shopping Center, 60 31st Ave, San Mateo
The truck will be at the shopping centers from 10 am to 7 pm each day. The cafe truck will have the usual desserts, including Giant cookies & cookie sets, macaron sets, and Madeleines. Fans can also shop for several new items like totes, blankets, sweatshirts, and T-shirts.
If you can’t make it to the truck this August, there’s a Hello Kitty Cafe located at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara. The cafe serves blended drinks, various treats like mini donuts, and strawberry shortcake. You can also purchase plenty of merch at the Santa Clara location along with the coffee and treats.
