The glaze and glory is about to have its debut, but that’s not the only new thing on the menu.
Inevitable, really.
It makes perfect sense: sweet-salty-fatty goodness? That is the standard recipe for AMAZING! It’s plain science. Just ask the folks at Federal Donuts in Philly or Sam’s Fried Chicken & Donuts in Houston. While there are no claims to originality, the difference here is that the casual combo will now be available nationwide, conveniently located every mile or so, from February 24.
The new delight will come in the form of a classic boneless, breaded chicken fillet slapped in between two glazed buns or as a basket. Both items will be served piping hot every time, according to Andrea Zahumensky, chief marketing officer, KFC U.S. The price will range from $5.49 to $7.99 and it will only be available while stock lasts.
If you really want to get in on the action before Feb 24, then you can always head to 615 North La Brea Ave in Los Angeles and look for the “The Colonel’s (Chicken &) Donut Shop” where you’ll get some free tenders and donuts for free, if you’re the first 50.
These aren’t the only new things on the menu though, on Feb 12 the chicken chain announced a new collaboration with Crocs. Yes, KFC is also using this opportunity as a sartorial segue. To clarify, these clunky clogs are in no way edible.

It’s a weird time for our breaded snack, but it’s certainly interesting.
