Lit Crawl, a free, 4-hour literary bar crawl across SF’s Mission District is back this Saturday, October 22nd from 5pm-9pm. The event serves as the closing event for the annual Litquake literary festival in SF and has been called one of the most anticipated literary nights of the year.
The event is broken up into 3 timeslots: 5-6 pm, 6:30-7:30 pm, and 8-9 pm. Each program lasts 1 hour with 30 minutes to travel to the next event. Venues range from classic mission bars like Martuni’s and Latin American Club to beloved bookstores like Dog Eared Books and Sour Cherry Comics.
Lit Crawl events run a gamut from “Noir at the Bar” with The Mystery Writers of America to “Happy Endings” where 5 writers will explore the outrageous and elusive notion of happiness. There’s truly something for everyone.
