The building connects the two valleys in San Rafael, California, with an impressive blue-roofed complex. Although Wright died before seeing its completion, Wright’s protégé, Aaron Green, did a sterling job of realizing the vision in 1962. The pale-pink stucco exterior housing the distinctive, scalloped balconies is the last and largest of all Wright’s works.
