While Super Bowl weekend in San Francisco promises to be an exciting moment for sports fans, it’s also drawing major musical talent to the area. Numerous major performers have been announced for the weekend, whether it’s the pre-game performances at the stadium itself or concerts happening throughout the weekend before Super Bowl Sunday.
Now, another major artist has announced a show for Super Bowl weekend. Popular DJ Martin Garrix is set to perform at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Friday, February 6. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, December 19, but presale starts tomorrow, December 17th. Fellow DJ and producer Lost Frequencies will join the popular DJ for the show.
Martin Garrix is well known for his hit songs “Scare to be Lonely” and “In the Name of Love,” and he has performed at major music festivals worldwide, including Coachella, Ultra, and Tomorrowland. The Dutch DJ and producer has collaborated with many major artists, including pop sensation Dua Lipa and R&B singer Khalid. Meanwhile, Lost Frequencies is known for his singles “Where Are You Now” and “Are You with Me.”
Garrix’s show will be at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium near Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco, a major venue that has hosted numerous iconic acts over the decades, including The Grateful Dead and Elvis Presley.
Garrix is joining numerous other major artists performing in San Francisco for Super Bowl weekend, including Sting and the Killers, who announced concerts earlier this year. Both Sting and The Killers will perform at the Palace of Fine Arts on February 6 and February 7, respectively. Post Malone is also performing a free show hosted by Bud Light at Fort Mason in San Francisco on Friday, February 6.
