Chinatown‘s Li Po Cocktail Lounge first opened in 1937, serving as an integral part of the neighborhood’s lively nightclub scene between the 1930s and the 1960s. Nearly a century later, not much has changed about Li Po, from the faux rock facade to the red lacquered doors.
The Chinese Mai Tai is by far Li Po’s most popular drink, made with a Chinese spirit called baijiu which lends a simultaneously fruity and umami flavor.

Enjoy top-quality, sustainably sourced seafood at this relaxed spot just a few blocks from the beach and Golden Gate Park. Order at the counter and dig into seafood burritos, grilled fish tacos, crispy beer-battered fish and chips, or fresh albacore poke. Even on a foggy afternoon, the bright patio and a tray of fresh fish make it hard to stay away.
The straightforward menu feels right at home in the Outer Sunset’s small-town atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia for anyone raised along the California coast.
San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB) is a non-profit organization and museum dedicated to the appreciation and creation of book arts. They host unique workshops in letterpress and bookbinding, from a 3-hour session where guests can design and create their own customized posters, to introductory bookbinding classes that teach a range of bookbinding techniques. Courses are also customizable for groups of 4 of fewer, up to teams of 20+ people.

While Alcatraz Island is one of the most famous and sought-after attractions in San Francisco, it’s even more memorable on a night tour, which gives guests exclusive nighttime access to parts of the prison not typically open to the public.
