San Francisco has been buzzing with concerts this year across various venues, such as Civic Center Plaza and the Embarcadero. Now, it looks like the fun is continuing with a Monolink show this weekend.
The musician, known for his EDM mix with singer/songwriter hits, announced a show at Golden Gate Park. The sunset set is scheduled for October 26 from 2 to 7 pm. The concert will take over the Pioneer East Meadow, at 569 John F. Kennedy Drive. There is no car access to the meadow, so you’ll have to walk through the park a bit if you plan on Ubering to the show. Parking is also always limited so we recommend taking public transit if you can. Food vendors will be available at the event, although bringing your own outside beverages or coolers will not be allowed.
The show is in collaboration with The Do Lab, an event and design company that promises an “all-new stage design” for the sunset show. Monolink is known for his EDM tracks that specialize in ambient, techno, and electronica. The Berlin musician is known for using live vocals and instruments in his sets, setting him apart from other DJs. He’s played major festivals, including Coachella and Burning Man, drawing large crowds dancing away.
This fall has plenty of exciting shows in the Bay Area, including a free Portugal. The Man concert at Civic Center Plaza, a Halloween show with Kaytranada, and EDM music festival Portola at the end of September. Plus, the city has plenty of free shows, including the Flower Piano Series in Golden Gate park and shows at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell.
Don’t miss the exciting sunset show this weekend in Golden Gate Park starting at 2 pm on Saturday October 26.
