Off The Grid: Fort Mason Center (OTG:FMC) is almost over! The popular food truck parties are only scheduled for the next two Fridays, so make sure to visit now or you’ll have to wait until 2024 for the next round.
This is California’s largest weekly food truck event, the only such market featuring a full bar and live music all season long. The free events bring dozens of gourmet food trucks to the Fort Mason Center parking lot on Friday evenings from 5pm-10pm. For the fall season, they’re going all out with unique themes. Here are details for the final two events:
- Fri, Oct. 20 – One Night Only – The best chefs from Sacramento, LA, and the Bay flex their skills.
- Fri, Oct. 27 – Kimchi + K-Pop – Celebrate K-Pop culture with the best local Korean cuisine.
The fall season also introduces a new VIP village called Gather, where groups of 4 people can reserve a table-service booth for $100 each. Groups will have special access to exclusive menu items and drinks that represent that night’s theme.
Throughout the season, we’ve been treated to over 50 beloved local food trucks including Bacon Bacon, Hula Truck, Churreria SF, Capelo’s Barbecue, Señor Sisig, and Johnny Doughnuts. Make sure you stop by the Kivelstadt Cellars WineGarten and get a good spot in front of the entertainment stage with live music, DJs, and dance performances.
In 2023 we enjoyed a summer slate of OTG: FMC in May and June, followed by the fall season in September and October. If this year’s schedule is any indication, we likely won’t see this beloved event return until early summer of 2024.
Be sure to check out Off The Grid: Fort Mason Center from 5pm-10pm on Friday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 27. It’s free to attend and takes place at the Fort Mason Center parking lot.
