After much anticipation, the Outside Lands 2024 lineup was released in April. Lineup drops are always highly anticipated, with people constantly speculating over Reddit and comparing other festival lineups for who will perform at this year’s festival in San Francisco.
Now, months after the original lineup was released, a major change has been made with the music festival’s headliners. The original lineup featured Tyler the Creator as the Saturday headliner, but the musician had to cancel his performances at Outside Lands and Lollapalooza he announced via X. To replace Tyler the Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, who has been topping the charts with her recent singles Espresso and Please Please Please, will headline on Saturday August 10.
Fans can expect headlienrs Killers, Jungle, Grace Jones, Sturgill Simpson, and Chris Lake. Other standout acts in the lineup include Victoria Monet, Renee Rap, Teddy Swims, The Postal Service, Gryffin, Kaytranada, Men I Trust, Chappell Roan, and many more. The range of the acts is impressive, from alternative staples with plenty of nostalgia like the Killers to the electronic dance group Jungle that recently went viral for their now-famous music video for Back on 74. Chappell Roan has drawn massive crowds in her recent festival performances, and promises to be another must-see act.
Post Malone will also make an appearance, performing a country set. As usual, the festival will include SOMA locations featuring Angrybaby, The Blessed Madonna, Buns, Dusky, and more.
