What to know about Outside Lands 2023
Outside Lands takes place every year in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The festival began in 2008 and is managed by Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Presents, and Starr Hill Presents. It’s the country’s largest independently-owned music festival.
The all-ages festival will take place this year on Friday, August 11; Saturday, August 12, and Sunday, August 13 with gates opening at 11am. Music starts at 12pm all three days, ending at 10pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9:40pm on Sunday.
- Food and drink: Guests can choose from a variety of restaurant pop-ups and food trucks from around the Bay Area with gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. There are also water refill stations throughout the park so you can bring your reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. - Clear bag policy: Heads up that backpacks, large bags, and drawstring bags over 6″x8″x3″ are not permitted. You can bring clear bags and backpacks, small fanny packs and purses, and empty hydration packs. Details here.

Outside Lands 2023 lineup
As usual, Outside Lands is bringing a phenomenal lineup this year. 2023 headliners are Kendrick Lamar, the Foo Fighters, ODESZA, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Janelle Monáe, Maggie Rogers, and Fisher.
In addition to this formidable roster of headliners, Outside Lands takes no prisoners with the rest of the lineup. Get ready to see Lil Yachty, Cigarettes After Sex, WILLOW, Orville Peck, Aespa, and Father John Misty, just to name a few. Note that Trixie Mattel has canceled her set and Bob the Drag Queen will take her place.
The SOMA tent, dedicated entirely to house music, will welcome DJs Ame and Trikk, Blond:Ish, and Claptone, among others.
