If you’re looking for a winter escape without driving all the way to the mountains, you’re in luck. Palo Alto’s Four Seasons has created a gorgeous pop-up winter wonderland called Après Village, which brings the holiday skiing vibes right to the Bay Area. The hotel‘s après ski-inspired village is returned for the 2024 holiday season with its familiar favorites and a new addition.
Some of the best attractions at Après Village include semi-private chalets with roaring fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, and cozy blankets. A giant snow globe and life-size sleigh are perfect for endless photo ops in case you need a last-minute holiday card.
The winter village wouldn’t be complete without some in-theme food, and this year, the Four Seasons has added an Italian Apres Ski menu that features a selection of small plates to share. Bruschetta, olives, decedent fondue, and ravioli are all on the menu, priced at $95 per person for a total of 4 dishes each. You can also sip on themed winter cocktails to stay warm, including a snowfall martini, mulled wine, and even a holiday-spiced margarita.
