Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers recently played a surprise show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with a unique rule. The concert did not allow any phones, forcing fans to be in the moment rather than focus on recording hit songs.
Phoebe Bridgers’ The Lost Tour in San Francisco
The concert comes ahead of Birdgers’ The Lost Tour, which is making various stops in the United States starting on September 14. Like her New York performance,
Bridgers had originally announced a show at San Francisco’s Chase Center on October 27, 2026, and tickets went on pre-sale today, June 9. Bridgers is so popular that she announced a second show the following night, on October 28 at Chase Center. Tickets for the newly added tour date will go on sale on Friday, June 12, at 10 am.
The phone-free rule also extends to smartwatches, which will all be placed in secure Yondr pouches. Fans will have the pouches with their phones throughout the concert, and after the show, the pouches will be unlocked.
Bridgers will play three nights at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and has three shows scheduled in Brooklyn. The tour will end on December 12, 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden, after making stops in London, Paris, Dublin, and more.

She was also a member of Boy Genius, with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. Bridgers went on a hiatus in 2024 and just recently returned to the stage earlier this year. She has not yet announced a new album, however fans at recent shows have confirmed that she has played new music at concerts.
