There are plenty of wonderful free music series in San Francisco this summer, from regular concerts at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell to the iconic Stern Grove Festival that draws major headliners. This June, you can add a new free music festival to your calendar featuring a lineup of bluegrass performers.
San Francisco Old-Time & Bluegrass Festival

On June 6, Salesforce Park is hosting a free 7-hour Old-Time and Bluegrass music festival. The festival will start at 11:15 and run until 6 pm on Saturday. You can expect two stages in the scenic rooftop park, with a long lineup of bluegrass and old-time musicians.
Check out the full lineup here:
• The BG Stringband

It is free to attend the festival, and we recommend bringing a picnic blanket to sit and enjoy the music. You can also expect drinks from Barebottle Brewing and food from Joyride Pizza available for purchase.
