30 minutes from SF: Sausalito is hosting a 3-day boat show this weekend with luxury yachts and harbor views

Sausalito, often called California’s “Italian Riviera” for its Mediterranean harbor atmosphere, provides the backdrop for one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated marine events this weekend.

The Sausalito Boat Show returns to Clipper Yacht Harbor from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, 2026, with sailboats, powerboats, luxury yachts, electric vessels, charter yachts, and a packed program of activities for all ages.

The Electric Boat Expo gives guests a firsthand look at the battery-powered vessels quietly reshaping recreational boating, while a new motorized boat-racing competition welcomes participants of all ages throughout the weekend. Modern Sailing and SailTime will also offer beginner-friendly lessons on the water, complemented by free seminars on subjects ranging from cruising Mexico to diesel maintenance and rigging.

Friday kicks off with the Waves of Opportunity Charitable Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m., raising funds to connect underserved youth with the water. On Saturday, veterans will be honored during a Memorial Squadron Flyover at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Bay Area Eagles tribute band The ILLEagles on the waterfront stage at 4 p.m. The Chart Your Course initiative will also welcome trade, technical, and vocational students to explore marine careers at no cost.

On Sunday morning, the Women in Yachting Breakfast will bring together industry professionals and boating enthusiasts for networking and conversation. And throughout the weekend, all ticket holders can visit the PICYA Lounge for harbor views, drinks, and talks.

Food vendors include HopMonk, Casablanca Mediterranean, The Spinnaker, and The Coconut Guy. Kids can race model sailboats, explore the S.S. Helmut pirate ship play structure, and take a turn at the dunk tank benefiting Sausalito Marin City Little League.
