Calling all baseball fans. The Giants & KNBR FanFest Tour will be making its second stop in San Jose on Saturday, January 27. FanFest is designed to enhance the fan’s experience: instead of a one-day SF-only affair, fans can celebrate the Giants across Northern California.
The tour’s second stop is at San Pedro Square Market, 87 N. San Pedro St in San Jose and starts at 4:00 pm and concludes at 7:oo pm. Fans can expect both coaches and players to be in attendance, and the current lineup includes pitcher Kyle Harrison, Outfielder Austin Slater, and hitting coach Pat Burrell, among others. Fans can look forward to Q&As with the players and coaches, opportunities for pictures and autographs, special ticket offers, and promotional items.
The event is free, and no tickets are necessary. It runs on a first-come-fist-serve basis, so we recommend getting there early before capacity limits are reached.
The full list of coaches and players expected to attend include:
- Pat Burrell – Hitting Coach
- Ryan Christenson – Bench Coach
- Kyle Harrison – Pitcher
- Taylor Rogers – Pitcher
- Tristan Beck – Pitcher
- Austin Slater – Outfielder
- Casey Schmitt – Third Baseman, Shortstop
The next FanFest stop is in Napa on February 3rd. The tour ends with an open house in SF on March 9th that Bay Area fans can look forward to. FanFest is the perfect opportunity for fans to meet players and coaches before the season starts, especially if you’ve been missing baseball season. Spring training for Major League Baseball begins at the end of February, and the regular season starts at the end of March. Luckily, you still can get your fill of baseball at FanFest. The first stop of the exciting tour was in Sacramento on January 20th, where fans could meet players and coaches.
