While you may not be able to cheer on the Giants at Oracle Park right now, the massive ballpark is anything but empty. Oracle Park hosts a variety of events when it isn’t filled for a baseball game, and now you can use the stadium for a completely different sport.
Starting November 13, Oracle Park will be transformed into a 9-hole golf course welcoming both experienced golfers and novices alike. You can tee off from one of the iconic spots in the stadium into the field, and a caddie will guide you through the course. This year, players will tee off at the bullpen in center field, and hole 8 allows access to the players dugout. The course also has an additional bonus round, a 10th hole putting challenge after finishing the 9-hole course on the baseball field.
Participants will also have access to the Ballpark Back 9’s Clubhouse, which is typically only open to members. The clubhouse includes TVs fr watching sports, drinks, and plenty of food for participants to enjoy.
The course is only open for a limited time, from November 13 through 17. Tickets are available now, so don’t forget to reserve your spot.
Oracle Park has various events, with a recent success being their screening of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice earlier this month. The outdoor screening featured the hit film with a massive scoreboard, and people were encouraged to get in the Halloween spirit and dress up for the occasion. The baseball stadium also hosts major concerts throughout the year, including an upcoming Shakira show and My Chemical Romance performance. You can see the full schedule of non-baseball events online.
Tickets are available now for the Oracle Park golf course, and the event ends on November 17. Oracle Park is located at 24 Willie Mays Plaza.
