SF’s iconic ballpark is well known for its beautiful waterfront views and for being the home of the beloved Giants. If professional baseball and the views aren’t enough to tempt you to attend a game, Oracle Park also regularly hosts theme nights for Giants games.
The themes range from heritage nights to firefighter appreciation to Harry Potter. One of the more popular theme nights in the past was Hello Kitty, offering themed jerseys for fans. This week, Harry Potter night returns, and all tickets come with a Harry Potter and Giants long-sleeved shirt. There are plenty of other fun special events coming up, including Dog Days, where you can bring your pup to the game and enter in an adorable parade.
Check out the schedule of special events over the next month:
- Tuesday, August 26: Harry Potter Night
- Sunday, August 31: Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day
- Tuesday, September 9: Jewish Heritage Night
- Tuesday, September 23: Filipino Heritage Night
- Saturday, September 27: Dog Days 2, with pregame field parade
Baseball season will soon come to an end, so if you haven’t had the chance to see a game this year, now’s the time. If you can’t make it to the ballpark, we recommend checking out one of these local sports bars to watch a game.
Oracle Park regularly hosts unique events when the Giants aren’t playing, including concerts and movie nights. This September, you can check out a screening of the new Superman movie at the iconic stadium. The movie will be shown on the massive scoreboard, and attendees are invited to sit on the field or in lower box seats. The screening is on Friday, September 5, and you can also expect a costume contest, dog adoption event, and photo opportunities. For now, baseball season is in full swing, and we definitely recommend cheering on the Giants at some point this season. You can see the full schedule of events and get tickets for future games here. Oracle Park is located at 24 Willie Mays Plaza and is accessible via Muni. The Stadium is located near a new Arsicault bakery location in Mission Rock.
Oracle Park is located at 24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, and we recommend tacking public transit to the game as it may be difficult to find parking. You can find tickets and more information about games at Oracle Park here.
