Get ready to dance San Francisco. Portola, the city’s newest major music festival is back for another year of EDM on the waterfront. The two-day festival will take over Pier 80 featuring major artists in their 3rd year. This year’s lineup is packed with musicians known for their dance ready hits along with a long list of great food options, it looks like an exciting weekend in SF.
Portola 2024 Lineup
The lineup is packed, and if you don’t see your favorite musician on the festival lineup, they might be playing an after-show at various venues across the city. The pre-festival shows start this Thursday, featuring recent internet phenomenon The Dare (currently sold out) and Boiler Room X Portola. Plus, you can attend some of Portola’s year-round shows—called Raccoon Social—aptly named after the raccoons known to frequent Pier 80. The second Racoon Social will take place on September 27 at the Midway, featuring Anish Kumar, Bob Moses, Villager, and more.
The festival’s headliners include Fisher, Rüfüs Du Sol, Jamie XX, Disclosure, M.I.A., Four Tet, Gesaffelstein, and Justice. There are plenty of other crowd-pleasers, including Rebecca Black, Empress Of, and many more. Check out the full lineup below:

Portola Transportation/ Shuttle
Organizers for the festival are urging festival-goers not to drive to the festival grounds, as there is no event parking in the area. Instead, you can Bart, shuttle, take Muni, or use a rideshare to drop you off at the festival.
The festival provides a free shuttle to and from the 24th St. Mission Station between 12:30 and 11:30 pm. You can catch the shuttle at the corner of Valencia St. & 24th St. Note there are a limited number of accessible shuttles, so you can make a request online ahead of time regarding accessibility. We recommend getting a Clipper card (and making sure it’s loaded) so you don’t have to wait to buy a ticket for SF public transport.
