Every spring, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art hosts the Art Bash, an exciting party that serves as a major fundraiser for the museum. The party takes place right in the sprawling museum, giving guests the chance to explore the latest exhibitions while enjoying music and live performances. You can also expect art activations by Bay Area artists Rupy C. Tut and Rose D’Amato.
Art Bash 2026 is this week, on April 29, and you can still get tickets. The party’s musical lineup is curated by the Stern Grove Festival and features Shannon & The Clams, Ruby Ibarra, and DJ Wonway Posibul. You can also expect Cruise Control and DJ heyLove to perform in the Premium Party Lounge, featuring a blend of R&B, soul, and jazz music.

The party has tied entry, starting with a luxe dinner and live auction led by Sotheby’s auctioneer Phyllis Kao. Tickets for attending the dinner are quite pricey, so instead, we recommend attending the after-party, which will still give you access to the museum and the opportunity to see the performers and activations throughout the night.

Premium Party Lounge tickets are $500, allowing you to skip the line into the event starting at 8 pm, access to the lounge, and try specialty cocktails. A regular party ticket is $250 and gives you access to the Art Bash Party starting at 8 pm. Finally, the late-night tickets are $95 per guest, allowing for entry after 10 pm. The party will last until 1 am, so you’ll still have plenty of time to explore the museum if you have a late-night ticket.
SFMOMA recently unveiled the re-imagined Fisher Collection, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of receiving the massive art collection on loan.
