The Northeastern U.S. states are gearing up to experience a partial solar eclipse this Saturday, an exciting phenomenon in which the new moon will partially cover the sun. While the eclipse will unfortunately not be visible in California this time around, you can tune in to multiple livestreams to see it happening live (weather permitting). And as an added bonus, there’s no chance of hurting your eyes.
In addition to 13 Northeastern U.S. states, the partial solar eclipse will also be visible in Greenland, Europe, northern Russia, northwestern Africa. The eclipse will last from 1:50 a.m. to 5:43 a.m. PDT on Saturday, March 29th, with the maximum eclipse at 3:47am. If you want to watch the eclipse on the following streams from California, that’s when you should tune in.
