Our favorite NBA star, Stephen Curry, is about to kick off a two-week online auction where fans can bid on over 70 pairs of his personal sneakers, including game-worn and exclusive shoes.
Sotheby’s is partnering with Curry to host the auction from April 13th through 28th, 2026.
100% of proceeds will go to Steph and Ayesha Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation., which supports youth in Oakland. The organization works to provide nutritious meals, enhance literacy, and create safe play spaces for kids. So far, they’ve remodeled 23 local schoolyards and six gymnasiums.
Curry parted ways with Under Armour last November after a 12-year partnership, allowing him to operate as a so-called “sneaker free agent” ever since. Fans have been following closely as he sports new shoes before each Warriors game, wearing everything from Anthony Edwards’ Adidas to Sia Collective and Li-Ning, according to The New York Times.
“I’ve always believed that every pair of sneakers tells a story,” said Curry. “This collection really captures a unique chapter for me during my sneaker free agency this season.
“From the tunnel walks to the on-court warm-ups to the games across the country, I was excited to spend this time shining a light on players over the years who have left their mark on the sneaker game.”
The auction offers an exciting glimpse into Curry’s experimental season, featuring memorable sneakers signed by Curry himself. Whether you’re a die-hard collector, an NBA fan, or simply want to support the nonprofit efforts, it’s a compelling way to get involved.
