Stern Grove Festival is one of San Francisco’s most popular summer events, bringing massive crowds and major musicians to the beautiful park for free concerts. This year’s lineup was filled with major acts across genres, including Major Lazer, Suki Waterhouse, Patti LaBelle, and more.
The concert series is coming to an end this weekend, but not before one last weekend of music. While tickets have already been released, there’s still a way to attend a concert this weekend.
Stern Grove Big Picnic Weekend 2026
The last weekend of the festival always features two days of music, and this year’s lineup features Public Enemy with LaRussell and DJ Davey D on Saturday, August 15. The season finale on Sunday features Al Green with Goapele, The Glide Ensemble, and KALW DJ Wonway Posibul. Online and box office tickets have already been released, but there’s still a way to attend the concert on Saturday.
While most of the tickets for Stern Grove are free, there are paid ticketing options. All the tickets for Al Green on Sunday are sold out; you can still purchase tickets for the Saturday show. You can either buy a seat at the community table for $500, a stage-side lounge pass for $600, or a patron table with 10 seats for $5,000. Tickets are going fast, so we recommend getting yours soon.
If you were able to score free tickets to the show, there is no assigned seating, and attendees typically bring picnic blankets. We recommend arriving at Stern Grove early to find a spot, as it fills up quickly.
