Stern Grove Festival, a FREE outdoor concert series featuring a wide variety of genres, is entering its last weekend. The lineup is impressive, as always, with beloved musicians from jazz, rock, pop, and everything in between.
The summer concert series is coming to a close this weekend with some special programing. The Big Picnic Weekend is Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25 and is the first time Stern Grove Festival is holding the event. Sylvan Esso and Poolside are set to perform on Saturday, and Chaka Khan will take the stage Sunday. The picnic serves as a fundraiser, so while they still released free tickets as always, you are also able to secure a spot at the event by buying a table. Doors for the show open at 12 pm both days, and the concert starts at 2 pm.
This beloved concert seriees is the oldest outdoor music festival in the Bay Area, and its 87th season is going to be a banger.
Free tickets are released on a first-come, first-served basis one month before the event. If you miss the first release, keep checking back leading up to the event, as the festival releases limited amounts of additional tickets up until the show day. Tickets are known to sell out, so we recommend marking your calendar for the release dates.
