Now, the highly anticipated Stitch Head animated movie is coming to the big screen on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, with pre-screenings at over 1,300 U.S. theaters on Sunday, October 26th. Tickets are now available to see Stitch Head this Halloween.

The Stitch Head book series
Guy Bass’ bestselling Stitch Head series includes six primary chapter books for kids, following the trials and tribulations of Stitch Head, the first human-like creation of a mad scientist.
Loosely inspired by the character of Frankenstein, the patchwork protagonist thus embarks on a series of spooky plotlines exploring themes of friendship, bravery, loyalty, and belonging.
The books are embellished with compelling black-and-white illustrations, and there are also several graphic novel adaptations of the series.
Stitch Head animated film
Now, Stitch Head has been rendered into a full animated film for families to enjoy this Halloween — in fact, it’s the most highly anticipated kids’ Halloween movie coming to theaters this year.
The story begins in a shadowy, gothic castle presided over by a mad professor, who spends his time creating eccentric monsters in a lab. Stitch Head is in charge of caring for the bizarre cast of creatures and keeping them out of trouble.
However, the castle’s monsters face a terrifying predicament when a macabre freak show rolls into the nearby town of Grubbers Nubbin. Ringmaster Fulbert Freakfinder plans to kidnap the creatures and put them on display for his traveling circus — but can Stitch Head and his monster housemates foil the scheme?
Stitch Head is directed by Steve Hudson, starring Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, and Tia Bannon. Get tickets to a pre-screening on October 26th or check out the full release in theaters starting October 29th, 2025.
