San Francisco has numerous free concerts in the coming months, including a recently announced daytime show in Downtown San Francisco. The free concert will take over Union Square for an afternoon, inviting San Franciscans of all ages for an afternoon of dancing.
Daytime Disco with Poolside in Union Square
This September, San Franciscans can look forward to a major free concert and daytime party featuring Poolside. The show, called Daytime Disco, is hosted by local entertainment company Another Planet Entertainment as part of a free concert series. Daytime Disco is scheduled for September 20 starting at 1 pm.
“Seeing Union Square packed with people dancing together is a reminder of what public spaces are all about,” said Sarah Madland, General Manager of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, in a recent statement. “We’re grateful to Another Planet Entertainment for partnering with us to bring free events like Daytime Disco downtown, filling the square with music, energy, and community.”
The party will feature Poolside, which is a recording project started by producer Jeffrey Paradise. Poolside has released five studio albums, focusing on creating danceable summer music. Attendees can expect other electronic music guests performing at the show, with the full lineup yet to be announced. Another Planet has hosted a series of free concerts in Downtown San Francisco, including a day party at the Embarcadero with Dirtybird.
