The Golden State Valkyries are just starting their second season, but the team has already reached some major milestones. The WNBA team was recently valued at an impressive $1 billion by CNBC, making it the first WNBA franchise to hit the major milestone.
Now, the Valkyries announced that season tickets for 2026 have officially sold out, with over 12,000 sold. The team has created a Season Ticket Waitlist for fans who want priority access to tickets when they become available.
“History isn’t just made on the hardwood; it’s forged in the stands by those who support this team,” said Valkyries President Jess Smith. “Our season ticket holders are the heartbeat of this franchise and set a record in year one and then came back and pushed past it. That says everything about this fan base and what this team means to this community. The waitlist is proof that this is just the beginning.”
To join the waitlist, fans must submit a $25 deposit per seat. The waitlist gives fans first access when seats open up, before they become available to the general public.
The Valkyries played their first season in 2025 and broke the average attendance record with 18,064 fans. An impressive 397,408 attended throughout the season. The Valkyries had their first home game last weekend at Chase Center. There are still a limited number of single-game tickets and mini-plane tickets available for the 2026 season. We recommend buying your tickets soon, as tickets are going fast.
The next Valkyries home game is May 13, and you can learn more and find tickets here.
