Halloween is almost here, and this year the spooky holiday falls on a Saturday, which means San Franciscans can expect plenty of exciting ways to celebrate. Bars, clubs, and venues around the city will host fun, themed parties over the weekend, perfect for breaking out your best costume. Here are some great Halloween parties and nightlife in SF this weekend.
Halloween Block Parties
- 10/30: Nightmare on Front Street – The Front Street entertainment zone will host a free block party with live music on Friday, October 30, from 4 to 10 p.m. You can expect drinks, costumes, food, and more.
- 10/30: Castro Halloween – The Castro Night Market is returning for a free block party this Friday, October 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. The community celebration will take over 4 blocks and feature three stages with music, drag performances, and more. Check it out at 18th and Castro this Friday.

- 10/30: Ghost Palace at the Place of Fine Arts – The massive indoor venue will host an 8-hour rave with multiple stages, live art demonstrations, food, and more.
- 10/30: SET Halloween w/ Lost Miracle: Public Works will host a SET Halloween from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- 10/30: Why?2K Halloween at DNA Lounge – The club will host a Y2K-themed party from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
- 10/31: Midnight Carnival Block Party ft. RL GRIME, NGHTMRE & more – The Midway will host a block party from 4 to 10 pm with live music and an after-party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- 10/31: DUSK TO DAWN HALLOWEEN: Big Wild, Vandelux, Herc&Love Affair – The Palace of Fine Arts will host a massive concert and dance party from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- 10/31: Christian Löffler Halloween Night at Public Works – from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- 10/31: All Hallow’s Eve at DNA Lounge – DNA Lounge will host a party with music and dancing starting at 9 p.m.

Halloween Pub crawls
10/30, 10/31, 11/1: Crawloween — A massive pub crawl across multiple neighborhoods in San Francisco on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this weekend. Tickets include access to all the bars on the crawl, drink specials, and a party bus on Saturday night.
