Don’t call yourself a burrito lover until you’ve tried all of these!
It’s no secret that California is home to some of the best Mexican food outside of Mexico, and the mix of cultures and cuisines in the Bay Area provides for some awesome fusion options in addition to authentic taquerias. Some might say that burritos are a staple of California cuisine, which is lucky for us, because they are delicious whether you enjoy them at a picnic in the park or at a classy sit-down restaurant.
Here are 10 of the best burritos in town, at least for now… keep an eye on this list because it’s sure to grow!
1. Señor Sisig
Señor Sisig boasts “world-famous Filipino fusion flavor” with a simple menu including fries, nachos, tacos, and burritos. The Señor Sisig Burrito comes with adobo garlic rice, pinto beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro cream sauce, and your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu. You could also try the California burrito with french fries and guac, or the Tosilog burrito with Filipino sweet pork and a fried egg. Honestly, this place is worth more than one trip.
