Night Markets have become increasingly popular community events in San Francisco, with various neighborhoods across the city hosting charming markets throughout the year. This Friday, the Castro Night Market is back for 2026, kicking off a series of night markets through September.
The monthly night market will run from 5 to 10 pm at 18th and Castro, the main commercial area in the neighborhood. The night market will include numerous local food vendors, neighborhood merchants, live music, and community activities.
The upcoming night market is Spring Fling-themed, and you can expect fun activities like flower-bouquet making, a dating game, and even a missed connections wall. You can expect food trucks and various live performances.

This weekend’s night market is just the first of 2026, with more planned until September. The neighborhood will host the market on the third Friday of every month, so you have plenty of chances to check it out.
Here’s the schedule for 2026:
- March 20
- April 17
- May 15
- June 19
- July 17
- August 21
- September 18
The Castro Night Market is just one of many in San Francisco, including a Cole Valley market that also makes its 2026 debut this week. Cole Valley Nights returns on Thursday, March 19, with food vendors, live music, and more. You can also look forward to more Sunset Night Markets in the coming months.

The night market is presented by the Castro Merchants, GC Events, and the nonprofit organization Civic Joy Fund. We recommend taking public transit to the market as parking may be difficult to find, and part of the street will be closed to vehicles for the event.
