Next week, Cole Valley will host a charming neighborhood night market, with local vendors, live music, and plenty of great food. The first night market of 2026 is returning to the neighborhood on Thursday, March 19, from 4 to 9 pm.
The market will take over the main commercial corridor on Cole Street in the neighborhood, between Carl and Parnassus. Each night market this year has a theme, and next week’s is fittingly a Spring Fling theme. Attendees can expect live music from local musicians, artisan vendors, and plenty of great food from local restaurants and vendors.

The area has also become one of San Francisco’s entertainment zones, so you can enjoy to-go beverages from one of the many restaurants or bars on the street. We recommend stopping by Woods for a glass of beer and a mouthwatering burger from their food partner Lovely’s, or enjoying a crepe at Crapes on Cole across the street. Other restaurants in the neighborhood include the classic bistro, Cole Valley Tavern, and the popular French eatery, Zazie.

Cole Valley Nights schedule 2026:
- March 19 – Spring Fling
- April 16 – Party for the Planet
- May 21- Cinema in the Valley
- August 20 – Cole Valley (State) Fair
- Season Finale – TBA

Cole Valley Nights is hosted by Sunset Mercantile, the Civic Joy Fund, and Cole Valley Merchants. You can also expect a night market in the Castro this Friday, featuring activities, food trucks, and live music.
The event is free and family-friendly, and we recommend taking public transit as parking may be difficult to find in the area.
