Every spring, the San Francisco Fine Arts Museums host an annual gala that serves as a major fundraiser for the museums. Following the formal gala, the de Young hosts an after-party, complete with drinks, entertainment, and access to the many galleries.
Late Night is back at the de Young on April 16, starting at 19 pm. The after-hours party will include admission to the soon-to-open Monet and Venice, which features Monet’s iconic Water Lilies and paintings from his short time in Venice. Party goers will also have access to the museum’s permanent collections and other galleries, including Boom and Bust: Photographing Northern California and Rose B. Simpson: LEXICON.

The party will include DJ sets and live music, with the lineup to be announced soon. Local artists will host pop-ups and activations throughout. Finally, you can enjoy an open bar and small bites during the party. Early access tickets are on sale now, starting at $125, with general admission tickets costing $150.
The party presents a rare opportunity to dress up in San Francisco, with organizers encouraging guests to dress as glamorously as they wish. Late Night has been a popular event for several years and has even prompted the museum to expand it beyond the yearly gala. The de Young recently hosted an after-hours party to celebrate the popular exhibition Art of Manga, and the Legion of Honor hosted a massive Halloween party in 2025.
Tickets are available now, and guests must be 21+ to attend.
