The performances will take place in different areas in the Ferry Building, with some singing at the bottom of the grand staircase. The holiday performances are just one of the many festive events happening this winter in San Francisco, including the giant light projection show Let’s Glow that will feature the Ferry Building. The performances are free and are the perfect addition to a day exploring the historic building.

The Ferry Building was completed in 1898 and features the iconic 245-foot-tall clock tower. Today, the building has a thriving indoor marketplace and is home to numerous vendors, popular restaurants, and cafes. You can grab a beer at Fort Point Brewery or classic burgers at the Bay Area favorite Gott’s. The market features an array of shops, including Acme Bread, the charming bookstore Book Passage, and Heath Ceramics. Blue Bottle Coffee is always a popular stop for many people before they explore the building, along with Juice House and the Imperial Tea Court. Plus, be sure to stop by the weekend farmers’ markets while you’re at the building.
