Baseball season is almost here, with spring training games already in full swing. Luckily for SF baseball fans, Oracle Park will host the first game of the MLB 2026 season.
The season will have an Opening Night on March 25, 2026, with the Giants playing the Yankees at Oracle Park. The game is the first in the opening series for the season, which includes three games and other festivities.

The first pitch will be at 5:05 pm, and it is the only game on the MLB schedule that day. Tickets for the game are still available; they are selling fast, and we recommend buying as soon as you can to get the best deal. If you can’t make it to Oracle Park, the game will play on Netflix.
Following the Wednesday night game in San Francisco, 11 games are scheduled for Thursday, March 26. The SF Giants will play against the Yankees again on March 27 and 28 at Oracle Park, so if you can’t make it to the first game, there’s still plenty of chances to see the Giants play the Yankees.
The Giants are set to play 81 home games at Oracle Park, so you have many chances to spend a day at the ballpark. The Giants will close the regular season with three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 25-27.
Oracle Park is hosting a free fan event this weekend in preparation for the 2026 season. The Open House will feature autographs and photo opportunities and will screen the spring training game on the scoreboard. Plus, you can explore parts of the ballpark that are typically inaccessible, including the dugout and broadcast booth.
