This weekend, a free block party returns to Larkin Street, featuring live music, performances, local food vendors, and a variety of activities. The block party, Live on Larkin, debuted in May and will continue until the end of 2026. Keep reading for all the details.
Live on Larkin free block party July 2026
The free block party is on Saturday, July 11, on Larkin between Eddy and O’Farrell streets in the Tenderloin. The free block party will feature a battle of the bands contest, accompanied by breakdancing and beatbox battles. If that wasn’t exciting enough, you can also expect lucha libre and fencing during the free street party.
Finally, you can try food from a large selection of local vendors, showcasing the neighborhood’s food scene. Tickets are on sale for the Taste of the Tenderloin to sample food during the festival. A ticket costs only $8.24; however, you do not need one to attend the block party.
Live on Larkin will run from 12 to 5 pm on Saturday and will return next month for another free party. Check out the schedule for the rest of 2026:

The block party is hosted by Tenderloin Community Benefit District, Into The Streets, Tenderloin Merchants, and Tenderloin Eats. Into the Streets has worked on many popular free events in San Francisco, including the popular block parties Downtown First Thursdays, which are known to draw thousands.
