Fort Mason Center is a major hub for showcasing local artists and hosting creative events, and next weekend the venue will host another major art event. The San Francisco Art Fair will take place in the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center between April 16 and 19.
The art fair focuses on modern and contemporary art and is in its 14th edition. The fair will feature over 80 galleries. You can expect artists from the Bay Area and extending to international galleries, and this year’s fair has a particular focus on showcasing Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) artists.

Art galleries in attendance include SF-based Catharine Clark Gallery, Able Fine Art from New York, Yiwei Gallery from LA, and many more. The art fair includes many educational events, such as panels and informational talks on art.
Some events include drawing sessions, discussions with curators, artist talks, and more. Plus, a panel will discuss the various artist residencies available in the Bay Area.
