Free concerts are continuing this summer in San Francisco at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell. The popular music series kicked off earlier this year, and the lineup of free weekly shows is here for July 2026.
Free concerts in Golden Gate Park
The Golden Gate Park Bandshell regularly hosts free concerts every week, typically on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays. The live music series is hosted by Illuminate, a local arts nonprofit that is responsible for numerous major public art installations and free events.
The series first made its debut in 2020 and quickly became a hit. Now, in its 6th year, San Franciscans can expect a varied lineup of local performers and special themed shows. Some highlights on July’s lineup include a free folk festival on July 11, the popular Crucial Reggae Sundays, and a special Saturday show featuring local bands.
