This weekend, a free, unique music festival will take over the Mission District. This isn’t your typical concert with major stages. Instead, local businesses and tenants turn their porches and storefronts into small stages for local bands.
SF Porchfest 2026
This Saturday, SF Porchfest is coming to the Mission District for a free music festival and block party hosted by and for San Franciscans. The event is in its 8th year, and you can expect local musicians performing on stoops, porches, yards, and more throughout the Mission. This year’s lineup includes 18 stages and over 100 performers throughout the day. The fun starts at 12 pm on Saturday, May 30, and runs until 6 pm.
The performances will take place between 18th and 24th streets in the Mission, mostly around Valencia Street and Mission Street. You can find a map of all the participating porches with a full lineup, although we also recommend exploring the neighborhood and seeing what performances pique your interest as you go.
Some participating businesses include popular wine bar Arcana, 20 Spot, and Shuggie’s. While you’re in the neighborhood, we recommend exploring some of the many wonderful storefronts and restaurants. The Mission has plenty of wonderful vintage shops, wine bars, bookshops, and more.
Porchfests are popular events across the United States, held in major cities and smaller towns.SF Porchfest is part of the SF Public Space Collective and is partnering with the Contina Impact and Civic Joy Fund. You can learn more about SF Porchfest here.
