The book series beloved by tens of thousands of kids
Guy Bass’ bestselling children’s book series comprises six primary chapter books following a human-like creature, Stitch Head, built by a mad professor. The character is loosely inspired by the story of Frankenstein, exploring themes of friendship, bravery, and belonging.
The Stitch Head movie takes place in a mysterious castle above the town of Grubbers Nubbin, where Stitch Head lives with the professor and a bizarre crew of his monster creations. Stitch Head is in charge of caring for the creatures, but chaos erupts when a curious freak show led by Fulbert Freakfinder arrives in town. Can Stitch Head and his monster friends foil Freakfinder’s scheme to kidnap the creatures and put them on display?
Stitch Head is directed by Steve Hudson, starring Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, and Tia Bannon.
