Pride Comedy Night at Thrive City
On Friday, June 5, Thrive City will host a free comedy night to kick off Pride Month. The show will feature a lineup of numerous comics and will be hosted by the iconic Sister Roma, of the SF nonprofit the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
The show will start at 6:30 pm and run until 8:30 pm. You can also expect specialty cocktails, beer, and wine for sale at the show. Thrive City is one of San Francisco’s entertainment zones, which means guests 21 and over can enjoy to-go beverages within the area. The show is intended to be geared towards mature audiences, with a lineup of 6 comics.
Check out the full lineup below:
- Akeem Woods (Pause on HBO, Comedy Cellar NYC)
- Emily Van Dyke (Punchline/ Cobbs)
- Justin Lucas (Semi-Finalist Bay Area Black Comedy Competition)
- Tammy TeaLove (Opens for Oscar Winner Monique)
- Nola Bradley (2026 NW Black Comedy Festival Finalist, Cobbs)
- Stroy Moyd (NBC, ABC)
The show is free, and we recommend RSVPing online in advance, as space is limited. Thrive City opened in 2019 and has since hosted many free events, including an ice skating rink in the winter, watch parties, and more.
The free comedy night is just one of many exciting events happening for Pride in San Francisco. Another free event to look forward to is a series of drag shows happening every Friday evening in Downtown San Francisco. You can find more exciting Pride events in SF here.
