An employee of The Walt Disney Family Museum tests positive for the coronavirus as it closes for two weeks.
On March 12, Walt Disney Family Museum confirmed that an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The employee decided to seek testing after learning that a relative was infected.
According to their updates, the employee is currently in quarantine and health officials are assisting in notifying anyone who may have had contact with the member of staff.
In addition to closing the museum until March 20, in line with the current ban, the museum is also conducting a thorough cleaning of the premises using hospital-grade products.
No further cases have been identified thus far, but additional sanitation stations and safety measures will be introduced before reopening.
