What is 70mm and IMAX?
Standard movies are shot on 35mm, which means 70mm is twice as large, resulting in sharper images, higher resolution, and clearer colors. IMAX has a much larger aspect ratio than standard digital viewing, along with a massive curved screen and high-quality sound systems. A movie shown on 70mm IMAX is typically seen as the “gold standard” for viewing, although both 70mm and IMAX are noted for enhancing viewing experiences compared to standard formats.
