The massively popular Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Truck is returning to the Bay Area. Hello Kitty fans flock to this adorable cafe truck selling mini cakes, cookies, and macarons, plus limited-edition Hello Kitty merch. The truck will make its first stop in the Bay Area for the summer this weekend in Walnut Creek at Broadway Plaza.
Here’s where to catch the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck in and around the San Francisco Bay Area:
- June 22: Walnut Creek, Broadway Plaza, 10 am – 7 pm
- July 20: Pleasanton, Stoneridge Shopping Center, 10 am – 7 pm
- July 13: San Jose, Santana Row, 10 am – 7 pm
Although the truck sells adorable treats, the big draw is exclusive Hello Kitty merchandise. Snag limited-edition collectibles, including themed apparel, a glass mug with a sprinkle handle, a lunchbox, a canvas tote, rainbow thermos, enamel pins, plush toys, and more, all featuring the cat of the hour.
The cafe menu includes dainty sets of Hello Kitty-themed treats including macarons, cookies, madeleines, minicakes, and a giant chef cookie. Be advised that the truck only accepts payments via credit/debit card.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck began touring in 2014, and there are currently two trucks in circulation around the country. The success of the truck led to brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty Cafes in Irvine and Las Vegas, but the truck is the original experience bringing super cute treats and goodies to Hello Kitty fans around the nation.
Following its stop in Walnut Creek, the truck will head to Fresno, California, then Washington State. The East Coast truck is also currently making various stops on the other coast. You can see all upcoming truck locations here.
Fans of Hello Kitty won’t want to miss these Bay Area stops for a chance to snag some limited-edition merch. The trucks don’t come to the Bay Area often as they are busy touring the rest of the West Coast, so we highly recommend adding it to your weekend plans.
