August is packed with exciting concerts, including the major music festival Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. While the popular festival is the most well-known musical event of the month, you can still expect plenty of other concerts and festivals, including a free music festival at Salesforce Park.
Rooftop Rhythms Weekend at Salesforce Park
This August, San Francisco’s scenic rooftop park is hosting a free, three-day music festival. The free festival, called Rooftop Rhythms Weekend, will kick off on Friday, August 21, and run through Sunday, August 23. The three-day festival is a collaboration between Noise Pop, Free Techno, the Bay Area Brewers Guild, and Barebottle Brewing Company, and the East Cut Community Benefit District (CBD).
Each day of the weekend will have a specific focus, starting with Rooftop Rhythms on Friday, which features a lineup of live music curated by Noise Pop. On Saturday, Free Techno is taking over the park, with several DJs, including Lady Starlite, performing in the park’s amphitheater. Finally, Sunday is a lively beer and music festival, with over 40 breweries, wineries, cideries, kombucha, sake, NA-Bev makers, and live music on the stage.
Friday and Saturday, the festival starts at 3 pm and runs until 8 pm, and on Sunday, the music starts at 2 pm, ending at 7 pm.
